In the autumn of 2010 Coca-Cola Enterprise commissioned Acmi with the supply of the end of line for their French factory in Grigny. Acmi dealt with the projection, integration and cabling of the machinery up until the wet part of the line. The high level palletiser deserves particular attention as it guarantees a production of 50.000 bottles per hour with the format Lt. 1,5. The palletiser is a Faster with a second generation Twisterbox with 2 modules offering high reliability and a unique flexibility. The change over format operations are carried out exclusively by the operators panel  without the need of any mechanical intervention on the machine. The end of line has been programmed to alternatively handle the following configurations on both full and half pallets:

• PET bottle Lt. 1,5 with pack configuration 2x2
• PET bottle Lt. 1,5 with pack configuration 3x2
• PET bottle Lt. 1,5 with pack configuration 4x2
• PET bottle Lt. 2 with pack configuration 2x2
• Pet bottle Lt. 2 with pack configuration 3x2

The extraordinary technological application of the Twisterbox, invented by Acmi in 2002, and confirmed by the continuous appreciation of both the large multinational companies or the local bottlers, whether handling bottles in PET, glass, cans or cartons or any other type of container.
