High speed
Faster D is the fastest depalletiser of the Acmi range and is capable of handling both cans and bottles. Entering into detail with regards to the machine functioning the first main aspect to underline is the running of the full pallet on the chain conveyors. This guarantees maximum stability of the layers during the delicate journey towards the infeed of the machine. Just before the infeed of the machine you will find a conveyor for stripping the pallet, this may be carried out either manually or in an automatic way depending on the customers request. Continuing on its route the pallet enters a cabin which is built with self centring walls which prevents the cans or bottles from falling. Inside this cabin the pallet it raised to the unloading level where a linear transferring trolley transfers the bottles or cans onto the conveying belt whilst the interlayers positioned between the layers are held by pneumatic pliers and recuperated by means of an appropriate gripping head. It is interesting to look in closer detail at the handling and storage of the materials used for the packaging such as the wooden frames, interlayers and pallets as the configurations of the Faster D200 are numerous.

ADVANTAGES
Thanks to the appropriate recuperating systems, the Acmi depalletiser can handle frames in plastic, wood and iron and collect in the appropriate magazine. The same process can be carried out when handling the interlayers that separate the layers and also the pallets where the containers are placed. These elements can be handled in an integrated manner in order to reply to the customers request, the Faster D can recuperate the frames and form a pile of frames alone or alternate with a frame and a pallet, or pile an interlayer on the pallet so as to aid their movement with the fork lift. Furthermore, the machine may re-use for the purpose of sorting the same pallets used for transporting the containers to be depalletised. The depalletiser may be programmed to handle pallets with different dimensions and with a production speed of over 400 layers per hour, which is more than sufficient to handle a bottling line with a speed of 90.000 cans/hr. As far as the change over format is concerned, these are simple and fast and may be carried out in a completely automated manner. Even the disposition of the layout of the machine is highly capable of being modulated in order to efficiently adapt to the spaces available. Robustness, solidity, reliability and minimum maintenance and the quality of the material make this machine a very performing product and particularly indicated not only for high speed can lines but also for lines handling bottles in glass, plastic or PET.
