The Vortex is a pallet stretch wrapper with rotating ring capable of reaching high speeds, its main frame is constructed in a solid steel tubular structure where the ring of the stretch wrapper internally moves.

APPLICATIONS

The Vortex stretch wrapper can mount spools with a height of 500 mm, 750 mm or 1.000 mm and is ideal for high capacity production lines. In fact, the robust structure, the automatic pre-stretching change over group and other interesting devices make the Vortex a machine with very high performance levels.

ADVANTAGES

The search of the pallet height is carried out automatically along with the film welding system, as with the rotating pallet model this is carried out with a system referred to as “bar against bar” and not welding the film directly on the product. Thanks to the double brushless motorization the speed of the film winding undergoes a number of continuous variations in order to coordinate with the rotation speed of the ring and in this way guarantee constant film tension.  With this new pallet stretch wrapper it is possible to create personalised stretch wrapping and film tensioning programs.

AUTOMATIC PRESTRETCHING CHANGEOVER

An innovative system capable of increasing the overall production of the machine by means of a drastic reduction in the spool changeover time or by means of automatic intervention in the event of film breaking. In the following diagram Figure A represents the first pre-stretching group, whereas the Figure B represents the second pre-stretching group.

TOP COVER

The film is required to protect the superior part of the pallet.  The device is equipped with a robotic arm which holds the spool , positions itself above the pallet running area , wraps the film in synchrony with the speed of the underlying pallet. As far as the spool change over is concerned , the robotic arm rotates and lowers itself positioning the spool carrier at a lateral and  ergonomic height with respect to the pallet conveying system. 

ROPING SYSTEM

The roping device, inserted in the pre-stretching group finds its application in the event that it is necessary to further  stabilise the pallet.  The roping may be carried out starting from the top, from the bottom or both. This allows complete personalisation of the roping application, so much so, that it is possible to carry out partial shrinkage so as to achieve a film band.
