VIPER E

Viper E is a fully electronic handle applicator. It is equipped with an electronic handle application unit and with an electronic spacing system that avoids the use of spacing worm screws and the related inefficiencies linked to rubbing on the packs and complications in the format changeover. The absence of spacing worm screws at the infeed has a number of important advantages: simplicity and speed in format changeover operations; higher production speed; absence of rubbing on the packs. The handle application unit consists of a mechanical arm mounted on a cam that ends with a special application gripper, the whole unit is driven by a single motor. Viper E reaches a maximum speed of 100 packs per minute per lane and is only available in the two-lane version.

Types of handles that can be used: cardboard handle assembled in the machine on an adhesive reel; adhesive reel with pre-assembled cardboard handle; reel handle (with continuous graphics) assembled in the machine on an adhesive reel; adhesive reel with an already assembled “foam” type handle.
